SYNOPSIS

Brain is a drama that deals with the brain and neurosurgeons.

Lee Kang Hoon (Shin Ha Kyun), who graduated from the top medical school, works at the top hospital, and is the top neurosurgeon around. Basically, he’s Brain No. 1. (And he works on brains, too!) He has ambitions to become the director at his university hospital. He is obsessed with success, which is probably both his greatest flaw and strength, since it makes him steely and fierce.

However, once he meets his sunbae Kim Sang Chul (Jung Jin Young), the prickly genius doctor and world famous neurologist, he turns over a new leaf and becomes a sincere doctor. Seo Joon Suk (Jo Dong Hyuk) is a doctor and will become Lee Kang Hoon’s rival. Yoon Ji Hye (Choi Jung Won) is also a neurosurgeon who grew up in an ordinary family. She is extremely strict in matters of work and study, but has a warm bedside manner with her patients.

Joo Jin Mo and Lee Bo Young will lead the weekend drama “Queen of Game (게임의 여왕)” scheduled to be aired by SBS around the end of November following the final episode of “Love and Ambition”. LBY plays the daughter of the owner of a run-down hotel. JJM plays an M&A (Merger & Acquisition) expert. The filming is scheduled to start in cities of New Zealand including Auckland (오클랜드) and Queenstown (퀸스타운). Staff from the movie “The Lord of the Rings” will participate in the project. Viewers will be presented by the beautiful scenery of New Zealand captured from helicopter.

Kang Jae-ho caused the death of Shin-jeon's father when Shin-jeon (actor Joo Jin-mo) was a young boy. Ever since his father's death, Shin-jeon thought about getting revenge. After studying abroad in America, Shin-jeon is hired by an American investment firm and is promoted to the position of branch head of their Korean office.

In his plot to get revenge, Shin-jeon intentionally approaches Eun-seol, who is Kang Jae-ho's daughter, and uses his charm to win her heart. but Shin-jeon finds himself falling in love with Eun-seol as he gets to know her better. and decides to forgive her dad. As Shin-jeon plans to marry Eun-seol and settle down with her in marital bliss, Eun-seol finds out that Shin-jeon approached her on purpose to get revenge on her father. Angry at being betrayed, Eun-seol begins to devise a plot to turn the tables around on Shin-jeon...

The drama City Hall attracted a great deal of attention before it had even started airing on TV. It was produced by drama writer Kim Eun Sook and producer Shin Woo Chul, who were behind the incredibly popular dramas, “Lovers in Paris” and “On Air”, and who are considered to be a drama dream team. The drama is set in a fictional city called called Inju City, where a woman who had one of the lowest ranks in the civil service, is suddenly elected to be the city’s mayor. Shin Mi Rae (played by actress Kim Sun Ah) and a crafty high-ranking official named Jo Guk (played by actor Cha Seung Won) come together in this romantic black comedy set in a political organization. The drama revealed the lives of the people in Korea’s political organizations, especially the everyday dramas that take place in the regional cities. The drama has a realistic style, and viewers got caught up in the romances, intrigues, and scandals of Inju’s City Hall.

Shin Mi Rae is the lowest ranking public servant working in Inju City Hall. Her main job is to serve coffee to the high-ranking public officials. She seems to be rather ordinary and has nothing special to brag about. She doesn’t have an outstanding academic ability, financial means, or a well-connected family to help her stand out from the crowd. One day, however, she takes part in a beauty contest, in the hope of winning the cash prize, and gets fired from the City Hall for having “damaged the reputation of a civil servant.” To everyone’s surprise, however, she returns to the City Hall elected as the new mayor of Inju. Her ordinary image moved the hearts of the town’s citizens, and with the help of the powerful Jo Guk, she wins the election. After she is elected, she begins to reform the bureaucratic culture of the City Hall administration and becomes a truly great mayor who is genuinely working for her people.

Although she scolds Mi Rae for wandering around and not making a good living for herself, she knows very well that Mi Rae resembles her. She is a very stubborn lady who stands firm to her opinions. Both her and Mi Rae are unbeatable. If she can't win an argument against her daughter, she would much rather spend all her energy up and end her life. However, she starts to feel very uneasy about Mi Rae after she becomes the Mayor. Acting like a graceful Mayor's mother is very… difficult.

Plot

Back in his high school days, Joon-Seok (Joo Sang-Wook) was bullied by Chang-Sik (Yang Dong-Geun). Because of this, Joon-Seok's high school days were like a nightmare. Now, Joon-Seok finds it difficult to live a normal life due to the bullying. Meanwhile, Chang-Sik, who has forgotten what he did to Jeon-Seok, lives a relatively happy life. He is about to marry Ji-Hee (Lee Tae-Im). Joon-Seok will pay him back for all the misery.

Filming began December 17, 2012 at a bar in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. First scene filmed involved Chang-Sik (Yang Dong-Geun) hiring people to threaten Joon-Seok (Joo Sang-Wook). After meeting for the first time in 15 years, Chang-Sik is uncomfortable with their meeting and thus hires people to send a message.

According to the news posted by CindyW88, Lee Da-hae (이다해), Lee Dong-wook (이동욱), Park Si-yeon (박시연) who is Eric's girlfriend, and Lee Jun-ki (이준기) will star in this drama. This romantic comedy is directed by Jun Gi Sang (전기상) whose last drama was Delightful Girl Choon Hyang.

Lee Da-hae plays the role Ju Yoo-rin (주유린) who is an imposter proficient in English, Chinese, and Japanese. Lee Dong-wook plays the role Seol Gong Chan (설공찬) who is the second generation heir of a big corporation. His grandfather requests him and Yoo-rin to become brother and sister abided by a contract. Park Si-yeon plays the role of Kim Sae-hyun (김세현) who grew up in a rich family and dreams to become a tennis star with the nickname "Sharapova of Korea (한국의 샤라포바)". Her charm and intelligence attract many men. She and Yoo-rin have cutthroat competitions. Lee Jun-ki plays the playboy role Seo Jeong-woo (서정우).

Synopsis

Park Sun-Woo (Lee Jin-Wook) works as an anchorman at a TV broadcasting station. He is in love with newsreporter Joo Min-Young (Jo Yoon-Hee), who is bright and honest. Park Sun-Woo then obtains 9 incense items, which allows him to go back 20 years in time. Park Sun-Woo travels to the past.

CBM reporter Min-Young (Jo Yoon-Hee) is in the country of Nepal, covering an expedition team as they attempt to climb Annapurna Mountain. Min-Young hears that senior reporter Sun-Woo (Lee Jin-Wook) is set to arrive in Nepal and goes to the airport to welcome him.

Suddenly, Sun-Woo kisses Min-Young. This is shocking to Sun-Woo, because she confessed her feelings for him, but he didn't seem to care. Sun-Woo asks Min-Young to live together for only 6 months.

Meanwhile, Sun-Woo goes to the police station and confirms that the frozen body is his older brother Jung-Woo (Jeon No-Min). Sun-Woo blames himself, because he saw Jung-Woo shortly before his death and he looked like something was wrong.

Synopsis

A drama about a group of college students who live in a boarding house located in Shinchon, run by Na Jung and her family, that houses students from all over the countryside who come to Seoul for college. It will cover the lives of college freshmen in 1994 as they learn to live in a big city and what the students will go through as they experience Seoul, the basketball tournament obsession, Seo Taiji and Kids, and other social issues that occurred in 1994.

Production

Director Shin Won-ho and writer Lee Woo-jung had originally planned for their previous TV series to be set in 1994, which was the year they entered college (Shin studied chemical engineering atSeoul National University). But they decided to change the year to 1997 after casting Sechs Kies member Eun Ji-won, since H.O.T. and Sechs Kies fandom was at its peak that year, which made an interesting juxtaposition to the failing Korean economy during the IMF crisis.

Shin and Lee felt there was enough material for another series, and in a bid to replicate Reply 1997's success, cable channel tvN announced a "sequel" or "second season" in April 2013.

Despite having the same writer and director, Reply 1994 is not a prequel of Reply 1997; it uses the same concept of coming-of-age drama combined with 1990s nostalgia, but with a completely new plot and characters.

Kang Ji Hwan will return to the big screen.

Today, Oct. 31. 2013. according to the filmmakers, Kino Pictures, Kang Ji Hwan was cast in the role of the main character Jin-woo for the movie "Romancing Game" which will be directed by Han Deok Jeon.

Kang Ji Hwan will play the role of Jin Woo, the "leave no trace thief".

"Romancing Game" is the story of a thief who also knows how to steal a woman's heart. The movie will be a blend of romance and thrilling action.

Kang Ji Hwan was the lead for the movies, "Rough Cut", "My Girlfriend is an Agent" and last year's "Runway Cop".

He is currently filming the movie, "Shoot the Sun".

The "Romancing Game" will start shooting this coming December and will be released next year.

Role of Yoon Seol-Chan (Yong Joon-Hyeong)
He is the vocalist of Man in Black, a Korean 6-member boy group. He is abrasive, chic and his words often stabs others heart. Of course, he doesn’t regret that. He is an idol who lives by fans’ love, but he has no mind to put away his self-respect for fans. He is a hot idol and his family is rich, so there is no weak point to him and he is always confident. When fanatic fans bothered him, he could not bear, so he is misunderstood as hitting fans. Because of his agency’s order that he should do model school life, he goes to school but cannot adapt to school. To such Seol-Chan, Sey is interesting. She is a girl who doesn’t know his songs at all and has stories as much as him.

Role of Min Sey (Ha Yeon-Soo)
She is a transfer student who came to Bukchon High school from New Zealand. She seems pure and kind, but has tenacity of purpose. She is usually indifferent, but has a sharp edge clearly to someone who is sharp. She is quiet as her closed mind, and tells calmly the word only she has to say without flowery words. The day she first came to 2nd class in Bukchon High school 2nd grade, she met Yoon Seol-Chan in bad luck. With such Seol-Chan, one day she became sit together. She is busy to adapt to school, deal with a bad boy and fight thinking about mom. What’s this?

Role of Jeong Seon-Woo (Gang Ha-Neul)
He has a natural charisma that can make other feel oppressed with a word. He plays cello in All For One, a famous club in Bukchon High school, but he is good at playing other instrument. He sings very well but does not want to show off. He is a young master from a distinguished novel family. His parents want him to be a doctor and he was sure that his dream is the same. However, an event that causes a crack in his mind happened. The girl transferred. Seon-Woo recognized the girl who is from New Zealand at a glance; Min Sey. Sey is the same class when they were 5th grade at elementary school, and he remembers that she was a pure girl who sings well. He liked her clear ringing voice, pure face and bright, sometimes whimsical behavior. It was jus a feeling of a boy in 5th grade. However…

Role of Han Ji-Woong (Ahn Nae-Sang)
He is a cold, chic man whose heart is frozen as hard as ice. He is like the lonely wind blowing in mountain Himalaya topped with snow. Once he was a famous composer and session musician, but now he lives shutting up from the world. One day, monsters descended on his house. These cheeky monsters were seeking at his warehouse. He got mad and kicked them out, but before he knew, they occupied his warehouse again. Finally, he gave up.

Role of Park Gyoo-Dong (Gang Il-Sik)
He is a pet in the class who has charming voice and cute appearance. However, the classmates bully him. They play and harass him easily, and send him on an errand, treating him as a younger boy. Always he says ‘Ok’, ‘I’m fine’, so everyone thinks that Gyoo-Dong is really OK.

Role of Kim Nana (Da-Hee)
She is the bad student who is famous in Bukchon High school. She was raised by her father’s second mistress who is from tenpro hostess. Therefore, she was listed on neither her farther nor mother family register, and lived with her maternal grandmother. Unlike her mother who is indifferent to Nana, her father is special to her. Because when she has a problem, he behaves enthusiastically. Of course, the way is little bit excessive. Therefore, there is nothing Nana fears.

PLOT

"Monstar" depicts the lives of ordinary teens who are injured psychologically and heal themselves through the power of music.

Yoon Sul-Chan (Yong Joon-Hyung) is the vocalist for the group "Man in Black". He carries deep wounds within his mind, but doesn't express his feelings. Because of his hot temper, he causes trouble. His management company then orders him to carry himself as an ideal student. He joins a music band at school, while facing unexpected events.
