Song Hye Kyo is Joo Joon-Young

She garners a lot of attention as a new PD at the station. She is st forward, with a passion with her work. She has a comradery with her coworkers.
She is enjoying a satisfying love life. She is a confident, considerate PD.
Hardly anyone realizes she can get her heart tugged by sth quite trivial. She just wants to be regarded as a confident colleague in this world of PDs dominated by men, a rival to be reckoned with, instead of the pity and exagerrated attention.

Kim Yeo Jin as Lee Seo Woo (Drama scriptwriter)

She has a lot to say and she always said it as directly and bluntly as she pleases, she is a drama scriptwriter with her own unique style and interpretation of blazing words both in life and in her drama scripts.
Although she is described as meticulous and always produces her works promptly on deadlines. She has also heard ppl constantly saying she is too egoistic. She is never into relationships, devolting herself wholeheartedly into her work.

Synopsis & Info

Song Hye Gyo plays a PD Joo Joon Young (주준영) who has bold and unstoppable personality. Hyun Bin also plays a promising drama PD Jung Ji Oh (정지오). This drama focuses on TV stations by portraying the love and struggle of these 2 PDs during filming their respective projects as well as unfolding male and female staffs' love stories and marriages.

Actress Bae Jong Ok (배종옥) plays a cold-hearted actress with good acting skill. Actor Uhm Ki Joon (엄기준) plays a successful but cold-hearted PD Son Gyoo Ho (손규호). Actress Suh Hyo Rim (서효림) plays a rookie actress Jang Hae Jin (장해진) who has lovely and bright personality. Hae Jin and Gyoo Ho develop a relationship resulted from the conflict between love and ambition. Actor Pan Yoo Gul (판유걸) plays a troublemaker. The supporting cast also includes Yoon Yu Jung and Daniel Choi (윤여정, 최다니엘).

The PD is Pyo Min Soo (표민수) who directed the popular drama "Full House (2004)" led by Song Hye Gyo. The script writer is Noh Hee Gyung (노희경) who wrote for KBS2 drama "We are happy to ask a few questions (우리를 행복하게 하는 몇 가지 질문, 2007)" led by Bae Jong Ok.

Episode One Preview

Joon Young (Song Hye Kyo) is preparing a birthday party for her boyfriend when Ji Oh (Hyun Bin) who is filming a scene met with an accident. The company assigns Joon Young as a replacement director to oversee and continue with the filming. However, she then gets unreasonable requests from the cast members.Ji Oh breaks up with Joon Gi on the eve of the broadcast without even having the chance to meet. After the filming, Joon Young drags her tiring body back home. Selfish thoughts began to occupy her mind when she heard that Ji Oh and Joon Gi had broke up…On the otherhand, Ji Oh manages to recover from the breakup and works hard at work. Harmonium in My Memory

The setting for this film is 1962, when a young teacher from Seoul takes his first job at a village school in Kangwon Province. When he arrives, his students present him with a number of challenges: many of them are poor, and cannot write properly; classtime is interrupted by fighting or visits from relatives. Nonetheless the students seem to enjoy his caring, idealistic approach, even if they don't always do what he tells them to.

At this time one of his older students begins to fall in love with him. She makes use of her daily journal assignments to comment on his teaching and ask him probing, curious questions. When she notices a romance developing between him and another teacher, she does her best to discredit her rival by harping on her age and stealing her shoes in class.

Director Lee Young-jae takes a lighthearted approach to this film, as evidenced by his casual jokes and the stereotyped portrayals of the older teachers at the school. This humor helps to put the ideals of the teachers and the passions of first love into perspective, without detracting from the underlying seriousness behind them. Jeon Do-yeon (The Contact, A Promise) is wonderful here once again as the 17-year old schoolgirl who battles with her timidity to make passes at her teacher. The teacher is played by Lee Byung-heon, a popular TV, stage and film actor. Lee Mi-yeon (Whispering Corridors, No. 3) acts as Jeon's rival, an idealistic young teacher who arrives from Seoul to teach at the same school.

As a teacher I've been subjected to a great many films that mythologize teaching and spin touching but ingenuine tales of success in the classroom. What I like best about this film is its lack of a triumphant breakthrough. Its honesty and light humor make us believe in the characters and care about what happens to them. By the time we reach the end of the film, it hits us with more power than we ever expected. (Darcy Paquet)

Plot

A young couple, both of whom are 17-years-old, learns that they will have a baby. The couple feels uneasy and with their heart beating faster than ever, they wait for the birth of their first child. Finally, they have a beautiful boy. Their baby is named A-Reum and the couple learns that he has Progeria syndrome, a rare genetic defect that will cause their baby to show advanced ageing from an early age.

A-Reum is a 17 years old who likes reading and writing. He has a mind of a boy, but he looks like a 80-year-old man. He becomes interested in a girl his age.

Based on the novel "Doogeundoogeun Nae Insaeng" by Kim Ae-Ran (Published on June 20, 2011 by Changbi Publishers, Inc).

SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

After coming back from a trip to China that her friends paid for, Han Ji Eun finds out that they did so only to sell her house while she was away. She returns and finds that the new owner of the house is none other than famous actor Lee Young Jae, whom she happened to meet on her trip. Circumstances bring Young Jae and Ji Eun into a marriage by contract, making them appear as a couple to the public. Under the terms of the contract, they will be married for 6 months while Ji Eun does all the housework. After 6 months, she will get the house back. Ji Eun finds herself falling for Young Jae, but he loves his childhood friend, Hae Won. Young Jae's friend, Min Hyuk, also shows an interest in Ji Eun. Many interesting and amusing things happen to this "couple" throughout their married life that bring them closer together, but will they really become a couple?

This is a story of three swordsmen, Jon-gul, Seol-rang, and Deok-gi, who led an uprising during the Goryeo era. When their desire for freedom and justice is about to be fulfilled, Deok-gi betrays them, leading to the death of Jon-gul, and to Seol-rang disappearing along with Jon-gul's infant daughter Hong-ee. When Seol-rang leaves, Deok-gi intones the prophecy that "You, no, not just you, but you and I both will be killed by Hong-ee."

Eighteen years later, Seol-rang, now called Wallso, is a blind woman with two children who manages a tea house at Byukran port. Determined to take revenge on Deok-gi, Wallso tries to teach Hong-ee to become a master of the sword, but Hong-ee (who changed her name to Seol-hee) is much more interested in day to day affairs than what happened to her father in the past.

One day, a big sword match hosted by the powerful military ruler Deok-gi (now known as Yoo-baek) is held in the market. Seol-hee participates in the match despite Wallso's objections. As the match progresses, she ends up fighting Yull, who is the master of the sword.

Yoo-baek realizes that Seol-hee's skill with the sword is similar to Seol-rang's, whom he had once loved. Yoo-baek orders his subordinates to catch Seol-hee, but she is able to run away. That same night, Seol-hee learns how her father, Jon-gul died. Wallso tells her that there are two enemies that Seol-hee is destined to vanquish: Yoo-baek, and Wallso herself. Shocked and desperate, Seol-hee leaves home: the beginning of a long journey of revenge. (Wikipedia)

'Memories of the Sword' Casts Lee Byung Hun and Jeon Do Yeon as Leads

A giant of a movie is in the works, as Memories of the Sword announced it had cast Lee Byung Hun, Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun. On July 8, a source for the film announced that "Lee Byung Hun, Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun have been confirmed [for the film]. It will be a collaboration of the global star, the Cannes award-winning actress and the best rookie out there."

Memories of the Sword is about two women who train to have their revenge on a man. Seol Lang (Jeon Do Yeon) hides her identity as the best swordfighter in Goryeo to train her daughter Seol Hee (Kim Go Eun) as a secret weapon for her revenge. 18 years later, they come upon the man they′re aiming for, Deok Ki (Lee Byung Hun), who has been conspiring to overtake the throne despite his being a mere concubine′s son.

Lee Byung Hun said he "made the final decision while considering Memories of the Sword in a positive light," and Jeon Do Yeon said she joined "to keep the promise with director Park Heung Sik made in the time of the film My Mother the Mermaid."

The film now boasts a top cast, as Lee Byung Hun is known as a global star through Masquerade, G.I.Joe 2 and Red 2, Jeon Do Yeon is famous as the actress who won the Best Actress Award at the 60th Festival de Cannes and Kim Go Eun won numerous rookie awards at the Daejong Film Awards, Blue Dragon Film Awards and the Korean Association of Film Critics Awards last year.
