Song Hye Kyo is Joo Joon-Young

She garners a lot of attention as a new PD at the station. She is st forward, with a passion with her work. She has a comradery with her coworkers.
She is enjoying a satisfying love life. She is a confident, considerate PD.
Hardly anyone realizes she can get her heart tugged by sth quite trivial. She just wants to be regarded as a confident colleague in this world of PDs dominated by men, a rival to be reckoned with, instead of the pity and exagerrated attention.

Kim Yeo Jin as Lee Seo Woo (Drama scriptwriter)

She has a lot to say and she always said it as directly and bluntly as she pleases, she is a drama scriptwriter with her own unique style and interpretation of blazing words both in life and in her drama scripts.
Although she is described as meticulous and always produces her works promptly on deadlines. She has also heard ppl constantly saying she is too egoistic. She is never into relationships, devolting herself wholeheartedly into her work.

Synopsis & Info

Song Hye Gyo plays a PD Joo Joon Young (주준영) who has bold and unstoppable personality. Hyun Bin also plays a promising drama PD Jung Ji Oh (정지오). This drama focuses on TV stations by portraying the love and struggle of these 2 PDs during filming their respective projects as well as unfolding male and female staffs' love stories and marriages.

Actress Bae Jong Ok (배종옥) plays a cold-hearted actress with good acting skill. Actor Uhm Ki Joon (엄기준) plays a successful but cold-hearted PD Son Gyoo Ho (손규호). Actress Suh Hyo Rim (서효림) plays a rookie actress Jang Hae Jin (장해진) who has lovely and bright personality. Hae Jin and Gyoo Ho develop a relationship resulted from the conflict between love and ambition. Actor Pan Yoo Gul (판유걸) plays a troublemaker. The supporting cast also includes Yoon Yu Jung and Daniel Choi (윤여정, 최다니엘).

Episode One Preview

However, she then gets unreasonable requests from the cast members.Ji Oh breaks up with Joon Gi on the eve of the broadcast without even having the chance to meet. PLOT

Park Tae Shin

A Surgeon specialized in Thoracic surgery, but also skillful for various surgery departments.

Despite his brilliant brain, he’s always misunderstood as an arrogant and mean guy due to his feisty confidence, straightforward personality and attitude.

Sometimes his bold moves make others uncomfortable and his mischievous behavior makes him look materialistic as if he doesn’t have any sincerity. But in fact, he has a pure and warm heart although he pretends to be cynical. He is clumsy to share his feeling with others and treats his close friends curtly but maybe it’s because of the sad memories about his childhood when he was abandoned by his parents as soon as he was born.

Nevertheless, currently he is a doctor with topnotch skills and wherever he is, he’s confident, haughty and outstanding. He has been working for almost 6 months without pay in Paran Hospital, a free clinic which is ran by Hwang Cheol Goo, and when he is now about to leave back for the U.S., something unexpected stops him.

Seo Joo Young

Ever since she was little, becoming a doctor was her dream.

That’s because it was an upwardly mobile lifestyle that she could achieve entirely on her own.

Even she knows that she gets called "tough cookie," "hard-core," and "crazy dog" by the junior doctors. She’s satisfied.

That’s because it’s clear evidence that she has survived in cardiothoracic surgery where female doctors are uncommon.

There’s not one time she has brought up stories about her family to other people.

That’s because, to her, family is like a scar she doesn't want to show.

To escape her contemptible family, she studied diligently and took care of everything by herself after she entered a science high school.

She’s a mass of ambition trying tirelessly. Even so, she is not an avaricious woman.

Besides her medical skills, she’s also outstanding in terms of worldly wisdom.

To earn what she desires, she knows to hide haughty talons and put on meaningless smiles, but she doesn’t realize at all how pretty that smile is actually or how lovable a woman she is.

The moment she saw Park Tae Shin, she felt something snap suddenly inside her.

Han Seung Jae

Gwanghae University Hospital Chief of Internal Medicine & Certified Physician of Subspecialty for Critical Care Medicine.

Though neat and elegant as if he redressed his appearance moment ago, but he’s not an aloof man that only cares about one’s class.

He is easygoing enough to quietly pick up a dirty rag to help out a hospital cleaning lady, and squats down in front of a shabby rural patient to put (his) shoes on.

He is a hidden son (illegitimate son) of chairman Yi (Lee) Doo Gyeong of Gwang Hae Group.

He doesn’t have particularly strong resentment towards the situation where he had to take after his mother’s surname.

His biggest objective is to be acknowledged by his father as a son who does not fall short in his capabilities amongst all the outstanding pool of chairman’s offspring.

In order to achieve his objective, he develops the cross-functional team into the best medical team in the nation, and rallies the internal influences within the hospital to use as a platform to become the director of the hospital in the future.

He is the only one to precede Seo Joo Young in becoming the youngest medical staff.

Though he doesn’t raise his voice once with his so called sister-in-law Shin Hye Soo, maintains a taut and tense relationship.

He does not forget that he must defeat Shin Hye Soo in order to survive.

Choi Ah Jin

3rd year surgical resident at Gwanghae University Hospital.

A lanky height, a skinny figure, a brisk gait, a silky short-cut hair.

She has a boyish charm of looking like a captain of girls' middle school basketball team.

She is energetic and cheerful. If you hear a loud laughter in the hospital lounge, it's her.

Seo Joo Young is her idol and a role model.

She envies her who is clever and have a strong character while being feminine.

Even though Seo Joo Young criticize harshly by treating her as an irresponsible and incompetent doctor right now, she wants to become the junior colleague who gets acknowledge from Joo Young someday.

At first, she thinks of Park Tae Shin's mischievous behavior strangely but as time passes, she started feel attracted to him.

Kim Sung Woo

3rd Year Resident for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.

With an appearance like a sculpture, wherever he goes, his specialty is in catching the eyes of girls. He has a good manner and takes quick notice of the surrounding doctors.

To the nurses he has a reputation for good looks and at the same time is responsible for taking on the role of Ah Jin's guardian angel, around her he always helps.

He has a one sided love for Ah Jin, whom he follows to support in Top Team, but it seems like Ah Jin's heart is being more and more drawn towards Tae Shin, and so his heart aches.

Prologue
A fateful romance amongst three souls that is sad but beautiful!!

The time of dogs and wolves – L’heure entre chien et loup –
is seen when dusk becomes night as the sun slowly wanes between the mountain ridges. This is the time when day and night exist together.

This is the time when objects become dim to sight, and from far away, the lingering approach of a silhouette can be seen. Friend or foe. Or someone who protects me. Or just a dangerous wolf…

This is the moment when both the righteous and errant paths all become crimson.

This is the time when friend or foe are indistinguishable, and it is in which the epic story about the defiance, surrender, love, and friendship of young agents takes place.

Storyline
After his mother gets brutally killed by the Thai criminal syndicate, Cheongbang, Suhyeon (Lee Junki) gets adopted into NIS agent Jungho’s family. Together with Mingi (Jung Kyungho), Jungho’s son, Suhyeon becomes an NIS agent. Suhyeon had met Jiwu (Nam Sangmi) when they were younger and later has another fateful encounter with her. Together they make promises for the future. However, one day, Suhyeon leaves for an operation dealing with the Cheongbang, only to return in failure because of the resurfacing of terrible memories when he was in Thailand previously. The chief of NIS agents, Jeong, proposes to the distraught Suhyeon to infilitrate the Cheongbang. So, through Chief Jeong’s proposition, Suhyeon becomes an undercover NIS agent. Thoroughly hiding his past, Suhyeon infiltrates the Cheongbang with revenge on his mind. Under the pseudo-name of Kay, he passes through the backstreets of Bangkok…

This is neither day nor does it seem to be night

If one should say that it is day, that ray of light seems too weak

Yet if this is night, it seems near impossible to identify the silhouette of objects

Under such a circumstance, the transition from light to darkness is known as “The Unknown Time”

This is the dog and the wolf, the battle between light and darkness, here, there, the time where the difference between illusion and reality lies only between a thin line.

Lee Soo-hyun (Kay) – Actor Lee Joon-gi
An NIS agent. Underneath his quiet demeanor, he has a violent temper. At a young age, he lost his mother when she was killed by Mao, a Triad gang member. NIS Agent Kang Joong-ho adopted him and raised him with his son Min-ki. After learning that Mao became a Triad boss, he infiltrates the gang as an undercover agent. He assumes a new name, Kay, and goes on a rampage as a gangster to gain the trust of his gang.

Kang Min-ki – Actor Chong Kyung-Ho
An NIS agent. He’s a very competitive person behind his easy-going smile. As the son of NIS Chief Agent Kang Joong-ho, he grew up with Soo-hyun like brothers. After becoming an NIS agent like his father who, he admires the most in the world, he gets involved in a love triangle with Soo-hyun and finds himself competing against him at the agency. When Soo-hyun leaves the agency, he confesses his love to Ji-woo and they become lovers.

Seo Ji-woo – Actress Nam Sang-mi
An art director. She has a bright personality and is very considerate to other people. She’s honest about her feelings. After meeting her childhood friend Soo-hyun one day, they begin dating. But then Soo-hyun leaves her suddenly. She becomes Min-ki’s girlfriend after that and while she was getting over her painful breakup with Soo-hyun, she meets “Kay.”

Synopsis
A drama about public defenders who take on the toughest cases with less than 1% chance of winning.
Jang Hye Sung (Lee Bo Young) is a bold, sassy, thick-faced, comical female lawyer. She is a prickly edge, sharp tongue who doesn't have a bit of concept or manners and finds it hard to be enthusiastic about what she does. Cha Kwan Woo (Yoon Sang Hyun) is a serious, passionate and macho former police officer who becomes a government lawyer. Meanwhile, Park Soo Ha (Lee Jong Suk) is a 19 years old boy who has the ability or superpower to read the people's minds. Together they will team up to solve the cases no one else wants, cases that only have a one percent chance of being found innocent.

She’s a daughter of a poor maid , studied like a hell and worked very hard to be a lawyer. She’s a self-made woman.But, she has no friends, she doesn’t like to be bothered by other people.She becomes a public defender nominated by government, her duty is helping poor people who suffered unfair justice while has no money to defend himself. While, she’s on her duty, she has an enemy in the court, prosecutor Seo Doyun. When she’s in hopeless competition against Seo Do Yun, one mysterious boy appears. And with the help of that boy, now she has a powerful weapon against Do Yun.

He’s a boy who has a secret that he can read other people mind when he watches their eyes. Because of that ability, he sees so many injustice, lie wins over truth. He wants to change that, but he’s only a boy. He’s handsome and obtained a black-belt in taekwondo. Women like him but there’s only one woman in his heart. 10 years ago, one girl helped him to find out the person who murdered his father. That girl who bravely testified in the court, stole his heart. He swore that he would protect and guard her if he can meet her again. 10 years later, he meets that girl again, Hyesung. But, Hyesung has changed.

He loves his job as a public attorney. He doesn’t have fashion-sense. He wears white sock, black shoes and stupid glasses.

Lee Da-Hee as Seo Do Yeon

She’s a capable prosecutor and comes from elite family, her father is a judge and her mother is a doctor. She pushed herself to be a perfect woman as she wants to be a perfect daughter for her parents. Hyesung was her rival in the high school. She almost lost her eye when a firework exploded and she believed that Hyesung caused that accident although Hyesung denied it strongly.

He is an Oriental Medicine Doctor who doesn't give a care about celebrities nor their lives and his only hobby is find the herbs on the mountains around the country over the weekends and finding new medicines to study but he is added to the love square between the three stars when he falls unexpectedly for Ae Jung.

Synopsis

A drama about the power struggle within a rich family living through Korea′s turbulent economy of the 1990s. It will cover a twenty-year span from 1990 to 2010, and follow the power struggle between three people for control of one chaebol empire. Jang Tae Joo (Go Soo) is the man who will build up his so-called empire of gold from nothing and raises his little sister on his own after their father dies. He fall in love with Choi Seo Yoon (Lee Yo Won),an chaebol heiress. But his biggest rival is her cousin Choi Min Jae (Son Hyun Joo).

Handsome, smart, tough, he’s such a perfect man. But he doesn’t have one thing : money.

Tae Joo started to grow ambition and moved with dangerous plot.

Second daughter of Chairman Choi Dong Sung, owner of Sungjin Group. She has pride and brave.
When she was in junior high school, her father was in the list of 10 wealthiest men in South Korea. She never watched price tag whenever she bought something.
People said that Sungjin Group is a golden enterprise but Seo Yoon knew what the truth behind the gold. There was a shadow of betray, trickery, conspiracy and blood. She wanted simple life than a princess of an empire of blood.
But , when she saw her incapable brother and childish older sister, she knew that she’s the person-in-charge for the empire. While she stood against storm for her empire, she also slowly exhausted.
At that time, Tae Joo appeared. The tragedy of a princess, who loves beast, starts.

The son of the vice president of Sungjin Group, Choi Dong In. Nephew of the chairman of Sungjin Group, Choi Dong Sung.
He’s intelligent, courteous, he doesn’t easily show his emotion. He keeps both ambition-of-being emperor and smartness of hiding it.
The original son of Chairman, Won Have is more stupid that he thought. But his uncle, the Chairman, removed him (Min Jae) to protect his real son. Min Jae battles against Seo Yoon fiercely but he starts to scare when he fights against Tae Joo who joins the empire.

PLOT
"Giant" covers the lives of the three siblings growing up in the 1970's and their pursuit for revenge; Lee Kang-Mo (Lee Beom-Su) is a man who carries deep sorrow, his younger sister Lee Mi-Joo (Hwang Jeong-Eum) & his older brother Lee Sung-Mo (Park Sang-Min).

Lee Kang-Mo's father died due to a friend of his father. Because of this, Kang-mo also lost his mother and had to separate from his younger sister and older brother. Kang-Mo was then raised by a man named Hwang Tae-Seob (Lee Deok-Hwa). Kang-Mo also falls in love with Hwang Tae-Seob's daughter Hwang Jung-Yeon (Park Jin-Hie). By a cruel twist of fate, it turns out Hwang Tae-Seob turns out to be the man responsible for Kang-Mo's father's death. Now Lee Kang-Mo & Hwang Jung-Yeon's relationship changes as Lee Kang-Mo becomes driven for revenge.

Lee Mi-Joo (younger sister of Lee Kang-Mo) loves Jo Min-Woo (Joo Sang-Wook). Unfortunately for Mi-Joo, Min-Woo leaves her while Mi-Joo is carrying his baby. After the birth of their baby, Mi-Joo attempts to hide her single mom status from those around her. Mi-Joo finds success in her career as a sister, eventually becoming a star. She also becomes the step-daughter for Congressman Oh Byeong Tak, who later passes away from a mysterious accident. Mi-Joo enlists the help of her brother Kang-Mo to destroy her former lover Jo Min-Woo, even though she is still in love with him.

Lee Sung-Mo (older brother Lee Kang-Mo) is an agent for the Central Intelligence Agency. He was picked for the agency by a man named Jo Pil-Yeon (Jeong Bo-Seok). At the time Lee Sung-Mo was unaware that Jo Pil-Yeon was responsible for the death of his father, but discovers this fact later. Sung-Mo is then able to connect Jo Pil-Yeon with Hwang Tae-Seob (the man that raised Lee Kang-Mo) as the two men connected with his father's death. Sung-Mo carefully details his discovery on paper. Sung-Mo dreams of exacting revenge but is then shot by Jo Min-Woo and becomes disabled. Sung-Mo then gives the information he discovered on Jo Pil-Yeon and Hwang Tae-Seob to his young bother Kang-Mo ...

Smart brain and courageous guts, there is a charisma behind his reckless action. He has a dream to make the strongest home in the world since he has lost his mother by briquette gas poisoning.

Busan, 1970, when his mother gave birth little baby, he lost his father by some mysterious murdering case. While escaping to Seoul, his big brother was separated. Only mother, Mijoo and new born baby were left with him.
Without nursing by anybody even right after delivering new baby, his mother was suffered by high fever. He used his final pocket money to find out room for mother. That was the small and dirty room which several women share together. Little Kangmo and Mijoo started to beg money in the station. Nobody cared them.
When Mijoo started to sing, there were a few person who gave coins to them. With that coin, they brought medicine and food for mother. Mother's illness was getting more serious. Some winter day under the rain, Kangmo bought a few briquette to make mother's room warm. After asking the room owner to make the room warm, he filled his stomach with water.
When he came to mother's room after daily begging, there were police cars and ambulances. There came out dead body one by one due to the briquette gas poisoning. In the middle of them, his mother was there. At the last moment, she pushed out new baby with her last breath. So, the new born baby could be alive.
Kangmo could not do nothing but dropping tears. At that time, Kangmo decided himself that, after growing up, he would build strong house which briquette gas cannot penetrate in.

Daughter whom Mr. Hwang Taesup brought from outdoors. She is smart at figures and capable of calculation even without paper. Cold, arrogant and bold character.

After her father fell down, she led Manho construction company together with Cho Minwo against Kangmo's Hangang construction company. But the company was taken away by Minwo afterwards. But, she succeeded to stand alone to become a mother of third financing world.

She never discouraged even under cruel treatment of her step-mother and step-brother. Instead, Saying she doesn't want to receive free meal, She started to do book-keeping of Manho construction company. Knowing she has strong character, Mr. Hwang Teasup expected her more than son, Jungsik .
While doing book-keeping, she found out that some blind money went to somewhere. Someday, Mr. Hwang Taesup accompanied her to a place where he handed money over to Mr. Cho Pilhyun. Mr. Cho worked for governmental secret agency. That was the shock to little Jungyun.
She found out the shadow of governmental power in the world of his father's business. Without support of governmental power, business is nothing like only small super-market. She started to make her ambition bigger. She decided to occupy his father's business expelling her step-brother, Jungsik.
It was something like revenge. Her real mother was discarded by her father, to say frankly, expelled by current step-mother. To compensate her mother's poor life, she must become a successor of Manho construction company. The big money even governmental authority cannot handle is the way of revenge to the world.

Son of Cho Pilhyun. He has smart brain and graceful outlook. He has built as a tool of his father's ambition. He, himself, hated father's style from his heart, so, he decided to catch more power than his father.

When he failed to get Jungyun's love, he met Mijoo to kill time. But, afterwards, he started to fall in love with Mijoo. At the day of back from study abroad, he felt something wrong hearing Kangmo say he love Jungyun.
As the marriage with Jungyun postpone repeatedly, he must hear blame from his father. At that time, his father, Pilhyun run for Congressman for the second time. For that, the support from Whang Taesup was seriously needed.
At the first time of running, 1978, he had failed to become a Congressman. Reason why Minwo came back even before finishing scholarship was also there. He must help his father's election after making wedding ceremony with Jungyun. But, because of Kangmo, everything was messed up.

Though she devoted herself to Cho Minwo, She was discarded.
Though, she was given birth to a baby of him and raised secretly.
Hiding she was unmarried mother, after several years of hard working, she became a famous celebrity and a step-daughter of Congressman Oh Byungtak.
After Mr. Oh died by mysterious car crash, she and Kangmo made Cho Minwoo collapsed, but she still love him.

Three years ago, when Yoo Kyung caused trouble to join ‘La Sfera’, he was sitting somewhere in the restaurant. He liked the way she earned a job. But not only that, he wanted to see how much she will grow with the passion she has. As to Yoo Kyung , he is a pain in the neck, but truthfully he supports her and cheers her on.
With Oh Seo Young, they are close friends who might appear to others as lovers. As a matter of fact, they might know each other too well to get even closer. The Target (Hangul: 표적; RR: Pyojeok) is a 2014 South Korean action-thriller film starring Ryu Seung-ryong, Lee Jin-wook and Yoo Jun-sang. It is a remake of the 2010 French film Point Blank.

The film will premiere out of competition in the Midnight Screenings section of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival

Plot

Once a skilled mercenary, Yeo-hoon now leads a normal life. One day he goes on an errand and enters an office to discover a man murdered. The killers also attack and chase Yeo-hoon who is shot and wheeled off to a hospital. The murdered man is identified as a corporate leader and Yeo-hoon becomes the prime suspect. Yeo-hoon is admitted to the hospital where Tae-jun, who leads a happy life with his pregnant wife Hee-joo, works. While on night duty, Tae-jun saves Yeo-hoon from the killers. The next day, Hee-joo is kidnapped and Tae-jun receives a phone call demanding Yeo-hoon to be released from the hospital for Hee-joo’s life. To save his wife, Tae-jun helps Yeo-hoon escape from the hospital and together they embark on a dangerous 36-hour pursuit.

Notes

Remake of 2010 French film "Point Blank" directed by Fred Cavayé.
Director Juhn Jai Hong was first hired to direct movie "Point Blank," but was removed prior to filming. According to distributor CJ E&M, director Juhn Jai Hong and production company Yong Film had creative differences which led to his departure. In his place, director Chang will take his place. Filming has also been postponed to a later date from September, 2013.
Filming began October 17, 2013 and shooting place in Seoul and Gyeonggi-province, South Korea.
Filming finished January 16, 2014.

Can We Love? (Hangul: 우리가 사랑할 수 있을까; RR: Wooriga Saranghal Soo Iteulka) is a 2014 South Korean television drama starring Eugene, Uhm Tae Woong, Kim Yoo Mi, Choi Jeong-yoon and Kim Sung Soo. It airs on jTBC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:50 beginning January 6, 2014.

The series is based on Han Kyung-hye's novel Mother Needs a Man, which was published by Random House Korea in 2007.

Can We Love? tells the story of three very close friends, Yoon Jung-wan (Eugene), Kim Sun-mi (Kim Yoo Mi), and Kwon Ji-hyun (Choi Jeong Yoon) who are all 39 years old. They all have their own problems.

Jung-wan is a divorcee with a kid and she has financial problems. She is a scriptwriter but due to financial problems she works part-time at a market. She starts to work with a very famous director, Oh Kyung-soo (Uhm Tae Woong).

Sun-mi is a successful decorator who is single. She is seen as an "old maid who is dying to get married" by her ex-boyfriend who dated her for her money.

Ji-hyun is married to a businessman. She seems to be living a very nice life; however, she has problems with her mother-in-law and rebellious teenage daughter. She has a secret first love, film company CEO Ahn Do-young (Kim Sung Soo), who is working with her friend Jung-wan. To make things worse, her businessman husband is one of the investors in Do-young's company.

It was known that if a baby was to be born crying at night, he will die as a legend at the end of his life.
On that same day comes the birth of Chun Dung and Gwi Dong.
For Chun Dung who is known for his good looks and well manners although he lives among the beggars, no one dares to even mention that his name "Thunder" doesn't fit him. He keeps coming around crazily to the Gwi Dong's place as she seems he thinks that Mak Soon is his real mother. It doesn't matter if he has to learn to write or settle accounts as long as he is able to see that woman "Mak Soon" who works as Gwi Dong's nanny will get angry and start hitting him, screaming that she isn't his mother. His heart is so deeply hurt at her rejection that he feels that he is unable to be loved.
This is a world of power and money..
Beggar Chun Dung has a strong desire to overthrow such a world.

Sung Dong Nyeo(Han Ji Hye)
She is the daughter of the village school's teacher.
Her father carries a deep grudge towards Officer Kim, the father of Gwi Dong.
Dong Nyeo has done so much studying that she is qualified to be a teacher and she is more elegant and talented than the scholars around.
Dong Nyeo's heart begins to shake when Chun Dung appears in front of her again ten years later since their last meeting which seems so unreal that he would return as such a big tall man.

Kim Gwi Dong(Lee Sang Yoon)
His real given name is Dae Gil and he is currently the chief of constables.
Born in the same town, night and time as Chun Dung, his fate was changed when he was switched at birth with the nobleman's baby. He is known as a trouble maker who like to use his fists to attack since his village school days. He hates to lose and thinks that he'll be able to have everything he wants in the world since he have both money and power. But why isn't the heart of Dong Nyeo leaning toward him?
The more he notices the unusual kindness and consideration that she has been giving to that guy 'Chun Dung', the more his heart will be feeling hatred, that he can't endure.
But still without 'Chun Dung' his other half, he will feel empty and hollow inside. These conflicting feelings are making him hesitant in his planing.

Dal Yi (Seo Hyun Jin)
She is the tomboy daughter of the village shoe maker and lives with her grandfather ever since her parents died at an early age.
She has been in love with Gwi Dong since she was really young and grew up to become a successful buiness woman because of her shoe-making skills and guts.

Beggar Jang / Jang Kkot Ji (Lee Moon Shik)
He is the ignorant tough boss of the beggar clan and who directs dozens of beggars and people living under his orders. He owns two huts and have two wives as well.

Keun Nyeo (Seo Lee Suk) - One of Jang Kkot Ji's wives
She is the first wife of Beggar Jang who now lives with Soe Dol, her business partner.

Ja Geum Nyeo (Ahn Yun Hong) - One of Jang Kkot Ji's wives
The 2nd wife of Beggar Jang who has a son with him and is known for being selfish and greedy

Kkul Ddeok (Jung Kyung Ho)
He is one of Beggar Jang's men who is only interested in food and women.

Jin Deuk - Chun Dung's best friend
He grew up in the mud huts with Chun Dung and became one of the right hand man of the beggar leader. He is not easily sway from anything once he set his heart on it.

He is Beggar Jang and Ja Geum Nyeo only son.
He treats Chun Dung like his own elder brother and loves to follow him around since he was young.

Soe Dol (Jung In Gi)
The person who switched Chun Dung and Gwi Dong after Chun Dung's mother died during childbirth and Mak Soo was employed as the baby's nanny. He and Mak Soon are both runaway slaves from the same house and he is willing to do everything for the love of Mak Soon. In all those years he spends with Chun Dung, he comes to love Chun Dung as his own son. He is a knd-hearted man who often regretted his past actions and tried to make it up to Chun Dung.
